Here is my evaluation of my music magazine, as well as the rest of the course. As blogger will not allow me to add this prezi to this blog post please click the link below until I can solve this issue, Thank you.
Kasey, sorry, yet again the last one. You're my last tonight and I can't keep my eyes open. I promise I will listen to the whole thing tomorrow. Not a reflection on your blog honest...more on my tierdness. If your first question is anything to go off it'll be amazing. Well done. Will give full feedback first thing tomorrow, I promise.
Question 2: you've not really answered the question here, you have more talked about how you would attract the audience. You need to talk about representation in the magazine. So using your skills from TV Drama. How have the images represented your audience, how would you describe the people who would read your magazine?
Question 3: If you are doing a magazine very similar to NME do you not think that this publisher would already be putting its money into that publication. You need to think very carefully. Warner Brothers work with DC comics only because there would be conflict of interest to work with Marvel as well. A Publisher would look at one publication in one genre for a reason. Consider is your magazine mainstream or is it more independent? Why would a global company suit your magazine or would a smaller one be more beneficial. EVALUATE don't TELL.
Question 5: as it is is ok but if you add in what you did for question 2 too then it would be fantastic.
Question 6: This needs to be extended a little more. You've also used many more programmes than you have indicated in your video, you need to be much more specific and perhaps group them into the three stages. Have these programmes made your work easier to do? More difficult? Have they enabled you to be more creative? Have you been able to refine your search skills and be more selective in the way you go about conducting research? Have you used new online systems and been able to see how digital media is more efficient and can reach a larger audience? You've done this in places but not quite in all areas.
Question 7: Really reflect on your own progress, what have you learned, what have you realised you could have done better? How did you feel about your first piece of work compared to what you've produced. what journey have you been on through media studies. Is it what you thought? Have you learned anything about yourself as part of the process. Think about what the question means.
